Ministry Strategy – Phase 2

The Strategy:

American Vision is one of Christianity’s best-kept secrets. I have yet to find a ministry that has a more comprehensive, accurate, and culturally relevant message for today.

Prior to my joining American Vision, I served as the Executive Vice President at Answers in Genesis-USA. Answers in Genesis-USA, led by Ken Ham, is yet another fantastic ministry. AiG, however, is no longer a secret. Without a doubt, it is one of the most cutting-edge ministries in the world. The AiG web site receives over 5 million visitors per year. They conduct over 200 speaking events annually. Their radio program is now broadcast on over 650 Christian stations across the US. Most importantly, they are building the most fantastic threat to humanism the modern world has ever seen – a 45,000 sq. ft. Creation Museum. To God alone be the glory.

Now if Answers in Genesis – dealing primarily and almost exclusively with Genesis 1-11 – is able to reach so many people in just 10 years of operation, then I can only begin to imagine what American Vision could achieve. We’re unique in that we take biblical authority to the next level – applying it to every aspect of our existence. This realization has led Gary and me to take American Vision to the next phase of ministry. Phase 1 was the fruitful years of research and writing that have ministered to so many of you. We’re calling phase 2, “A Vision for America – 2005 and Beyond.” As you read this article, phase 2 is well underway.

Phase 2 includes the launch of four major ministry outreaches. First, our new and improved web site was launched in late September. Each day our web site features a new article on the home page as well as other timely content. Within one month, our daily traffic to this site has doubled. Our goal is to make this web site the leading source of biblical worldview material on the web. Second, we are now in the planning stages of scheduling our “Restore America Tour” for 2005. Gary has committed to conduct up to 2 major teaching seminars per month next year, aggressively taking American Vision’s message around the nation. Third, we are writing the scripts and preparing to record several daily radio programs that will hit the airwaves as The Biblical Perspective in the spring of 2005. Fourth, we are planning to build a video production studio right here in our Powder Springs office. Our goal is to produce high quality, compelling, and visually rich video presentations that educate Christians about the Christian heritage of America, the reliability and relevancy of the Bible, and our hope for the future.
