What’s been going on at American Vision? In recent months several major events have strengthened and enriched our ability to carry out our mission. Last August, author James B. Jordan visited AV while passing through town. He kindly autographed copies of his magnificent commentary on the book of Daniel which AV published in 2007. An Additional Library

During the last week of September, Director of Research Joel McDurmon oversaw AV’s acquisition of the Gary North Library. This addition of over 14,000 books will enhance the work of AV’s writers and play an important role for our future Study Center. The new collection’s concentrations in history and economics complement AV’s existing library—already heavy in theology, Biblical studies, and ethics. AV extends our thanks to the volunteers who helped with stacking, particularly Kent Thelen and his daughter Maggie, as well as the six industrious children of staff member Paul Fish. The American Vision Donor Banquet

Gary North also presented a keynote speech at AV’s donor banquet in September. His talk emphasized the power of compounded growth due to steady work for the Kingdom. Just 2% per annum growth can transform the world over time. Toward this end, AV revealed our Mandate 28 project which will equip churches and families to exercise servanthood dominion in all areas of life. Many thanks to the pledges and donations received from the over 100 guests in attendance.
