Page Title - Introduction - Heading of page body
American Vision’s (AV’s) mission has been to Restore America to its Biblical Foundation—from Genesis to Revelation since 1978. AV realizes that this task requires a strategy to “Make disciples (not just converts) of all nations and teach them to obey and apply the Bible to all of life” (Matt. 28:18-20). So AV developed a method to accomplish this in our lives by way of illustration to understand all that encompasses God’s plan for spiritual growth. In doing so, it also became the way in which we now recognize the ministry with our new trademark (see the top left of the website).

To follow our train of thought, the structure (on the left) is a bottom up approach to developing a fruitful Christian life. By way of a Biblical Education—knowing what the Bible has to say—we study the four essential parts of knowledge: history, apologetics, ethics, and eschatology. Once we gather a solid understanding of the Bible and gain knowledge in these four essential areas of life, Christian worldview and character sinks in to personally develop maturity and wisdom. By way of Christian maturity, we can “Exercise Servanthood Dominion” over all God’s world as He has commanded us to do. This is what American Vision is all about.

Apologetics
Christianity is continually attacked from opposing worldviews—especially atheism. We must be prepared to clearly and persuasively articulate Biblical faith. – 1 Peter 3:15

Ethics
The Bible is the ultimate moral authority setting the standard from the arts, to science, to economics. Christians must apply the Bible to life in this world as much as they do to life during the next. – Deuteronomy 6:1-2

History
Through the study of history, we see the Providential hand of God consistantly moving and working to expand the Church and reach all nations. We see the moral implications of allowing humanistic philosophies to reign in place of the principles laid down in the Bible. Through the study of history, we learn how to avoid the past's mistakes in the future.

Legacy
While every ministry has a view to the end, most stop short at the near present, seeing in modern culture the signs of the collapse of culture and the imminent return of Christ. American Vision corrects this common error of judgment and sees beyond the present to a future formed by God's hands. American Vision fulfills God's commands to be faithful unto 1,000 generations and expects Christ to reign until His promise comes to pass.
– Genesis 1:28, Matthew 28:18-20

Christian Worldview
Excellence requires a Christian worldview. American Vision understands that the Bible commands us to see through Biblical eyes, think with Biblical reason, and to cultivate life with a Biblical plow. American Vision puts its hand to this plow and does not look back. In this effort, we engage the study of history, correct humanistic prejudices, portray the whole story of Christian influence, and return important lost works to the public light.

Servanthood Dominion
Under the guiding theme of 'exercising servanthood dominion,' American Vision trains Christians to subdue the earth by serving both God and man in love and hope. From business to art, science to social order, politics to economics, American Vision prepares Christians to apply Biblical principles and excel in every area of life.

Biblical Education
American Vision provides Bible-based training for families and churches to expand Christ's Kingdom to every corner of life and for generations to come. Providing a coherent curriculum across the disciplines, while at the same time addressing key issues as they arise, American Vision reaches beyond traditional ministry and points to 1,000 generations of service and hope. – Deuteronomy 6:6-7
